MEET THE COUNCIL
Introduction
The City of Loma Linda incorporated as a City in September 1970. The City operates under the council/city manager form of government. The City Council is the legislative branch responsible for making policy decisions and passing ordinances concerning the conduct, affairs and operations of the City. Additionally, the City Council also serves as the board of the Loma Linda Community Redevelopment Agency. The City Council is comprised of five (5) members, elected at large by residents to four year terms. Subsequent to the election, the City Council members select the Mayor and Mayor pro tempore.
