The City of Loma Linda Human Resources Department is responsible for recruiting and retaining both full-time and part-time positions and administration of the human resources functions.

Fire Department

The Fire Captain, under general supervision, responds to fire alarms and other emergency calls as Company Officer; supervises company-level fire prevention and fire training activities; directs maintenance of assigned apparatus, equipment, and station; presents public information and education programs; performs and directs code enforcement activity; and performs related duties as required.  The ideal candidate will have dynamic leadership skills, which will foster an atmosphere supportive of the Fire Department mission.


Salary: $6,622- $8,251
