The City of Loma Linda Human Resources Department is responsible for recruiting and retaining both full-time and part-time positions and administration of the human resources functions.

Public Works
Customer Service/Meter Technician

Salary:  $3,648 - $4,891/mo

(2.5% COLA effective 7/1/16)

Under general supervision, the Customer Service/Meter Technician installs, replaces, services and repairs water meters and adjacent water systems equipment; reads and tests meters and records results; performs such other duties as may be assigned.  Water meter reading and repair tasks are the primary assignment, depending upon work load requirements, incumbents in the class may be assigned to perform general maintenance tasks.

Division Chief - Fire Marshal

Under administrative direction, the Division Chief plans, directs, and coordinates activities of an assigned Division of the Fire Department and reports directly to the Fire Chief.  The current vacancy carries the functional title of Fire Marshal and directs, coordinates and supervises the Community Safety Division, including fire prevention, disaster preparedness/emergency management, and parking control.

The City of Loma Linda and Colton Fire Departments are managed by a consolidated Command and Administrative Services Staff. The Division Chief is an integral part of the management team, and may assume command of the Department in the absence of the Fire Chief.

Salary: $8,875 - $11,617/mo
