JUNE 2, 2026 - GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
City Council Elections will be held in the City of Loma Linda on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to elect two (2) Council Members to four-year terms each from Districts 2 and 3. The seats are currently held by Council Members: Phillip Dupper (District 2) and Ronald Dailey (District 3)
CANDIDATE NOMINATION FILING PERIOD
The nomination filing period for candidates is Monday, February 9, 2026, to Friday, March 6, 2026. Office Hours: 7:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Thursday, and Friday, March 6, 2026, 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Candidates filing for nomination must be a resident of their district at least thirty (30) days prior to the time the member is elected and throughout the member's term of office. They shall be elected by voters within their district.

- April 28, 2026 - SB County Voter Information Guides will be delivered to the U.S. Postal Service for all active registered voters
- May 4, to June 1, 2026 - Early Voting Period - Early votes on mail ballots may be cast for this election. Please visit the Registrar of Voters website (click) for early voting and ballot drop off locations.
- May 4, 2026 - Mail ballots are delivered to the U.S. Postal Service.
- May 18, 2026 - Last Day to register to vote for the June 2, 2026, Statewide Primary Elections
- JUNE 2, 2026 - Election Day - all polling places will be open for voting from 7:00am - 8:00pm. All ballot drop off locations will close at 8:00pm.

DISTRICT-BASED ELECTIONS
On November 8, 2023, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 775 establishing City Council election district boundaries and sequencing elections within those boundaries to change the City's electoral system from "At-Large" to five (5) Districts with respect to electing members of the City Council effective the 2024 General Municipal Elections.
