Historical Commission

Historical BuildingThe Historical Commission consists of eight (8) members who serve four-year terms. The Commission prepares recommendations to the City Council pertaining to buildings and sites in the City of Loma Linda of historical significance to further preserve the history of the city. A historical preservation ordinance has been adopted by the City Council and the Commission is working on various aspects of the ordinance for implementation. A Historic District has been established.

Historical Commission meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of every other month at 5:30 PM in the community room of the civic center. Meeting dates are subject to change, for additional information, call (909)799-2899. 
The director of community development is the city’s staff liaison member. Commission Members are required to file a Statement of Economic Interests pursuant to the city's adopted Conflict of Interest Code as mandated by the Political Reform Act and enforced by the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC). Statements of Economic Interest are public records.
