The Need For Speed...
|
Today customers want more from their communications utilities. What was satisfactory a couple of years ago is not acceptable today. Applications have become more powerful and users expect more: more speed, more accessability, more up-time and more options.

Fiber Optics delivers. |
With LLCCP Fiber Optics you can connect at 5, 10 or 15 Megabits per second, (Mbps)
and that is symetrical - upload as fast as download!
By comparison, T1 speeds are usually 1.5 Mbps, symetrical, but often cost about $500 per month. LLCCP connections are significantly faster and cost much less. And LLCCP is available for business as well as residential use. DSL speeds are between 768 Kbps and 7 Mbps, (Kilobits per second: 1000 Kbps = 1 Mbps) and are dedicated lines, meaning that the connection is not shared. Cable speeds range between 3 to 100 Mbps, and are shared connections, meaning that the speed a user actually connects at is dependent on how many other users are accessing that shared service at the same time.
Additionally, DSL and cable connections are typically asymetrical, meaning that the upload speeds are significantly slower than the download speeds. Alternately, symetrical connections provide uploading speeds that are as fast as downloading speeds. All of the LLCCP fiber connections have symetrical speeds and the LLCCP fiber to your home provides a dedicated connection, so your speeds are not affected by what your neighbors are downloading.
Loma Linda has built, and is continuing to build one of the most advanced fiber optics infrastructures in the world, offering symetrical speeds that far exceed the status quo. Loma Linda residents and businesses can connect at blazing speeds, and as technology continues to push the envelope, Loma Linda's fiber optic infrastructure will be able to deliver even higher bandwidths.
